Concept
RTS base-building meets autobattler with heroes fighting down lanes as waves of enemies attack your base. ARPG loot system and skill tree meta progression ensures endless customization and builds for your units and heroes.
Introductory
Flow
After booting the game you’re taken to the main menu which is your town. In this town you can view all of what your account has and navigate through the game. Skill trees, gear, inventory, heroes, units, resources, progression, achievements, etc. Selecting the World Map you’re taken to a Minecraft Dungeons + Kingdom Rush 5 style map, with regions and realms. Navigate around and find a node that has rewards, xp, items, resources, that you want. After loading in to game you are presented with a small bare bones base. This is your forward encampment. You must construct buildings to produce the units, production buildings to harvest resources, etc for things that you desire. Units will be sent down lanes by default unless given commands like horde, patrol, rush, etc. Your Hero is the only dynamic unit that you can move around however you’d like. Waves of enemies will progress down the lanes in a tug of war style match. Objectives will give you something to aim for besides winning the tug of war. Things like push lane 3 to destroy a reinforcement hub for the enemy, to get a reward.

Main Menu Town
Resources produced in-town should be supplementary to World Map. If a user hates certain stages, that choice not to do those stages soft-locks them out of those resources. Production buildings can support the user by providing resources from stages they don’t want to do. As well as providing additional income passively for systems the user regularly engages with.

THE DREAM
Mobile game primarily but can be played desktop. Cartoon style assets and art. Premise: you go through RTS style scenarios for missions with your faction and chosen hero in an autobattler.
Flow: from the main screen which is your city you manage resource collection, your hero, your units gear. Select the missions menu to open the map and go through regions, worlds, realms, etc. Select a mission you want the rewards from tied to that area. Load in to setting up the start of your base and unit controls. Very bare bones. When you’re ready you hit start. Your units start their ai pathing based on what orders you gave, ie, patrol the base, run the lanes, resources, etc. Enemies will push from their side of the lanes in waves and also have scripted moments they appear from behind in an ambush on your base. Units set to patrol will focus enemies in your base Units set to attack will push the lanes to battle the enemy main force as an auto battle. Your hero will have dynamic commands, you can send them down specific lanes, hold, patrol, etc. During gameplay there may be objectives like send down lane 2 to take out a reinforcement base. Send down 3 for optional resources. Send all down 1 for a boss wave. Throughout gameplay, as its somewhat survival, you collect resources you produce to build your base in the mission and send stronger units. Some missions might have meta resource gathering. Once the mission is over you rewards are calculated and shown. You’re taken back to main city. Now you can look over your new gear, trade, scrap, enchant, etc. Arpg style gear equips and management. Your hero is the primary utility, support, and damage for bossing. Util and support for missions with low mobbing damage but high bossing damage. Heros have different stats but that’s generally the rule. Heros will have much more wild and stronger gear. Whereas your mobbing units will have things like +28% increase to physical damage. On the equipment menu, stats are shown with icons paired with coloured text for numbers. Rarity, stat modification, abilities and attacks or casting listed, with the name of the item. Some exotic stats exist like a throbbing tentacles mass of purple text that says Knowing Unknown. Which denotes a specific realm this stat is tied to. Bossing is done by either doing missions and progressing the waves, or going to a boss mission. Boss missions have very hard difficulty and a static lane autobattler. Your hero fights the boss while you support with your base and units.
Sylvie hunter hero had 4 weapon options. Far left to right was a green bow and hunter kit, then an ice bow and cold damage kit, then bow with daggers for a melee kit, then bow and sword for balance melee range for 4th. 4th had Knowing Unknown stat.
